GREEN TOMATO CURRY Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Hema Iyer |
| INGREDIENTS | Green Tomato - ¼kg
Bengal Gram Dal - 100gms
Masala:
Coconut - 1 cup
Methi seeds - few
Chana Dal - 2 teaspoons
Urad Dal - 2 teaspoons
Dhania seeds - 2 teaspoons
Red chilies - 4 to 5
Salt to taste
Coconut oil & mustrad seeds to granish
Asofoedita - 1 pinch | METHOD | 1. Cut green tomatoes to small pieces.
2. Cook bengal gram dal in cooker.
3. Fry all ingredients of masala together in little oil, and grind it.
4. Add oil to kadai, let mustard seeds splutter, add tomotoes and cook.
5. When done add the dal and the ground masala. |
