COCONUT MILK CHUTTNEY Recipe | Chutney/Dips Recipe by PJP |
| INGREDIENTS | 1 cup Coconut milk
2 - 3 pods garlic pounded
2 - 3 tsp crushed / ground corriander leaves
Mustard seeds
Urad dal
Jeera
3 - 4 Red Chillies or less depending on your taste
Curry leaves
1 tsp tamarind extract
Salt
Oil | METHOD | 1. Heat a tsp or two of oil and put the red chillies whose stem have been slit slightly and let it darken.
2. Add the mustard seeds, urad dal and little jeera. and finally when they have spluttered, add the pounded garlic and curry leaves, Into that pour the coconut milk, crushed / ground corriander leaves and salt.
3. Mix well and bring to a boil.
4. Add tamarind extract and bring to another boil.
5. Serve with dosa or idli or idiapam. |
